Adorable iTouch holder

My niece got an iTouch for Christmas. She loves monkeys. I created this easy and cute little holder for her.  She really likes it.
The pin is incredibly popular.

Monster iphone/gadget protector

Here is one of my first "designs." I borrowed the basics from another blog "Dragon and chicken do not knit." It is the first complete one so far. So please comment if is confusing. This was a huge hit at Christmas this year and had requests.

Worsted weight yarn in favorite color

G Hook

light color thinner yarn for teeth (sock yarn)

Be sure that you use device to measure while working. You want to make sure it fits easily, not too snug or too loose. It will also help with the appropriate length.

(with light color thinner yarn) Start with front of pouch facing you.

Join yarn at 2nd chain from ear, sc, *1 hdc, 1 treble, 1 hdc in same stitch, sc* across. Should make 5 teeth on front of pouch.

*

FRONT TEETH

One front of flap at the bottom, join yarn at one end in BACK loops only.

Chain 5, sc in 2nd from hook, 1hdc, 2 dc. slst back in the body, one tooth

repeat for as many teeth as you would like. sc in back loops to make spaces. Fasten off.

Sew on button for eyes. Avoid using doll or amigurumi eyes because the back may scratch your device! Keep it soft on the inside.

Use red thread and embroidery needle to create nose.

First time!!

I have never blogged before. I found it daunting. Here I am. Only because I need a place that I can link my patterns too. Patterns, weird. I never thought I would be creating patterns, let alone have the know how, for anything that incredible. I have found that I change things and make them up as I go along to suit my ideal, my vision. So, Here I can post my convoluted creations. If someone likes a project and lacks the skills. They can custom order it and I will happily make one for them.

Enjoy and ask any questions you want.
